A quick and easy cocktail recipe that’s perfect for a fall gathering, a Friendsgiving, or to serve at your Thanksgiving meal. Made with the combination of white wine and pear vodka, the alcohol is infused with the best fruit of the autumn harvest – grapes, apples, pears, plums and figs.

Ingredients

Units
  • 1 bottle sauvignon blanc
  • 1 bottle chardonnay
  • 1+1/2 cups pear vodka, I used the Wild Roots Spirits
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1+1/2 cups honey simple syrup
  • 2 thinly sliced apples
  • 2 thinly sliced red anjou pears
  • 2 thinly sliced green pears
  • 10 red grapes, sliced in half
  • 10 white grapes, sliced in half
  • 2 thinly sliced black plums
  • 2 thinly sliced red plums
  • 6 fresh figs, sliced in half

Instructions

  1. Pour the wine and the vodka into a very large pitcher, bowl or dispenser.
  2. Juice the lemon and orange and add it to the vessel, then stir in the honey simple syrup.
  3. Using a mandolin, slice the apples, pears, and plums. Add them to the vessel.
  4. Slice the grapes and figs in half and add them to the vessel.
  5. Give everything a good stir and place into the refrigerator for 4-6 hours, or overnight.
  6. Pour into glasses, garnish with freshly sliced fruit and enjoy.

Notes

You can omit or substitute any of the listed fruits with a different seasonal fruit of your choice, especially as items go out of season. Unflavored vodka would work as well, or substitute for an apple flavored vodka.
