When I was young, Easter was never a time of year that excited me. Not compared to the winter holiday season. Now that I am an adult, I associate this time of year with the birth of my daughter, tulips poking up through the thawing ground, birds chirping and the color green–all things that are near and dear to my heart.
When our daughter was born, my husband and I decided it would be easiest for us to start hosting an Easter meal at our house. Our entire immediate family lives in the same town, making it possible for us to all get together for special occasions. I love being able to implement elements of freshness on the table and around the house in the Spring.
This year, I want to send our guests home with a small gift. Flowers are perfect for any spring or Easter occasion and adding a personal touch really brings these bouquets altogether. From my local grocery store, I bought a few different types of flowers with different textures and shades of spring. Each bouquet has a few stems from each of the different flowers I brought home. Using craft paper and twine, you can easily make a handful of flowers look like it came from a professional florist. Craft paper and twine are both something that I always have on hand and I use them for a lot of different things. Presenting a bouquet like this is so easy and inexpensive, but most importantly it will make the recipients feel special!
To create these Easter tags, I used the beautiful scripted Mocking font and a simple sans serif called Neue Einstellung. I also used the amazing vintage peony from this vector pack. I am constantly looking around the Creative Market website for design inspiration, when I need the perfect font for a project or want a gorgeous template when I don’t have the time to create something from scratch. This website is perfect to help you bring your visions to life.
You can download these Easter tags here. Be sure to tag your creations with #livingwithliddy! I would love to see how you put them to use!
