A few years ago, I really started to get into making fresh wreaths for our home. I experimented, bought Christmas greens and fell in love with the process. It’s now my own personal tradition that I do for myself during the hustle and bustle of the season. When I thoroughly enjoy something this much, I have an urge to share it (which is why this blog exists), so I was thrilled when a fellow blogger and friend decided to co-host a holiday wreath workshop with me this year. I think we started an annual tradition.

We gave the ladies some options for the base of their wreaths. The “merry and modern” ladies went with the gold metal hoops and those who wanted a “wintery and wild” feel chose the grapevine wreath.

There was a variety of greens as well. Two types of eucalyptus and some pepperberry branches gave some of the wreaths a free-flowing feeling. Ceder, pine and olive branches filled the rest of the wreaths with gorgeous Christmas vibes.

The thing I enjoyed most about this party (other than having an all girls shindig with champagne) was watching these holiday wreaths come together. They were all so different and beautiful. Guys, if you love making things during the Christmas season, add a wreath workshop to your list. So simple, and an absolute blast.
