The biggest debate this time of year…does Christmas start to show up a little too early? Are we forgetting about Thanksgiving? I am definitely team Christmas, but honestly I think I LOVE Thanksgiving just as much. Come November first, I start to feel all warm and fuzzy. Cuddling is key. And give me all the slippers, my favorite mug full of something hot to drink, a good book and you have peaked into my daydreams at work throughout the winter weeks.
I’m not necessarily reading adult books right now (#motherhood and I don’t have time), but I absolutely LOVE holiday themed children’s books. I look forward to reading these stories just as much as my toddler. And this year we both get to share the joy while reading them to Eva. Family is everything to me, which is why I love Thanksgiving so much. We start to settle down and spend a bit more time together, and these books are the perfect way to reinforce the meaning of this holiday.
If you think I a missing a must have on this list, please do share. Out of all my holiday children’s book lists the Thanksgiving list is the shortest. Can’t wait to continue to build it as my kiddos grow!
