On July 9, 2024, Ben Böhmer and Lykke Li, two luminaries in the music world, unveiled their mesmerizing collaboration “Hiding.” This captivating single, part of Böhmer’s forthcoming album Bloom set for release on September 27 via Ninja Tune, blends indie, pop, and electronica seamlessly.

Lykke Li’s hauntingly beautiful vocals intertwine with Böhmer’s lush soundscapes and evocative melodies, creating a track that transcends genre boundaries. “It’s a song that I’ve always wanted to write,” Ben shares, reflecting on this creative milestone. This rare collaboration marks Lykke Li’s first original feature since 2019, further cementing her status as a revered indie icon.

Lykke Li’s illustrious career spans over two decades, marked by collaborations with music legends such as Drake, U2, and Mark Ronson, who dubbed her the “high priestess of heartbreak and sadness.” She has garnered critical acclaim from top-tier publications like Billboard, Pitchfork, NME, and The Guardian, and her emotive music has been featured in films like Twilight. As an actress, she has made her mark in projects such as the crime thriller Tommy and Terrence Malick’s Song to Song.
