We are so excited to share our moment with digital cover star, Carolina Sala. We had the chance to ask her a few questions during her busy acting career – more on that below!

Carolina Sala began working as a theater actress at a very young age, training at the Lorenzo Da Ponte Academy and in 2018 made her debut as a protagonist in the Rai hit, “Single Pieces” directed by Cinzia Th-Torrini. The following year she was chosen for the role of Sara in, “The War is Over” by Michele Soavi and later for the role of the young Rita Levi Montalcini in the fiction film dedicated to the Nobel Prize in medicine, “Rita Levi Montalcini” directed by Alberto Negrin.

In 2021, Carolina continued her work as the protagonist in various works such as, “More is Never Enough” by Pappi Corsicato, “Crystal Girl,” by Domenico Croce and the TV series for Netflix, “Devotion” by Andrea Molaioli.

Despite growing her film career, Carolina never abandoned her first love – the theater – and founded her own theater company together with her colleagues.

Tell us a bit about yourself, where you’re from and how you got started in acting.

I am from Conegliano, a small city near Venice. I have always been attracted towards acting since I was a little girl. At the age of 15 I started taking acting classes at the Da Ponte Academy. Soon after I joined some professional theater companies connected to the Academy. In the summer before the fifth grade I was seen by my current agent on stage while playing Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet”: he saw me and decided to became my agent. I was eventually taken for my first part in the spring and started filming while taking my graduation exams – it was a crazy momento of my life.
