Christmas Centerpiece Workshop

Last year I co-hosted a holiday wreath making workshop with a blogger friend of mine. Watching all of the wreaths come together was amazing. This year we offered something a little different and organized a Christmas centerpiece workshop so that everyone could play around with flowers this year.

This is one of my favorite events to organize and host. I love getting into the holiday spirit by creating something to be used as Christmas decor. This time of year can be so busy, so it’s nice to get everyone together for a ladies-only afternoon.

We decided to stick with classic greens and whites for participants to choose from so that the florals could work for most decorating styles. It made for some gorgeous pieces. This is definitely an informal workshop–I am not a florists–but I do take some time to share tips and tricks that I use when I put my own arrangements together at home.

I love sharing my favorite part of hosting this Christmas centerpiece workshop. Watching all of the creations come together. Everyone has their own style and it was so much fun to see that come through in these ladies’ designs.

The other fun part about doing a centerpiece workshop was getting some of the ladies to play with flowers when it’s not something they have a lot of experience with. Leading up to the event, I received some messages explaining they were a bit nervous because they hadn’t put a centerpiece together before. Once everyone got started, their confidence built and I saw zero hesitation around the room. Loved that.

Thanks for checking in on this post, even though the holidays have come and gone. After this workshop I totally checked out from the social media and blogging world and spent time getting ready for the big day. Hoping all of you, your friends and family had the happiest of holidays!
