Oh November. Dare I say it’s the most wonderful time of the year? I know I know, that talk is ridiculous, but I honestly love it almost as much as December. It’s that warm and cozy month when our family can’t wait to get together, exchange recipes and enjoy copious amounts of wine.
I love the idea of spending time with friends, but our lives keep getting busier and busier. Families are expanding, careers are advancing and time is flying. That’s why I am so in love with the idea of Friendsgiving. I cherish the moments I get to spend with my girlfriends sharing stories and swapping advice, and it’s even better when we can do it sitting around a beautiful fall tablescape.
Fall provides such beautiful, natural decorative elements. This table was inspired by the lighter autumnal tones that the season provides. Mustard yellows and blush pinks are the base of this color pallet. For contrast, we added some beautiful seasonal fruit for pops of burgundy and gold. The fruit is gorgeous by itself, but when it’s paired with these florals it creates a rustic, whimsical look.
We used old and new to set this table. My sister and I couldn’t wait to use my grandmothers vintage white dishes in this scene. The glasses are vintage finds from some of my favorite Etsy shops paired with these mini coupes from Anthropologie.

Fall Tablescape – Tips On the House
Add Flowers – Flowers, flowers, flowers. Nothing brings a table setting together quite like a gorgeous flower arrangement. It doesn’t even have to be big or elaborate. The additional of something delicate and living will make a statement, no matter how big or little the tablescape is.
Plan ahead – Pick your colors, sort through the pieces you own (flatware, glassware, serving plates) and decide what else you might need to bring your pallet to life.
Colors – Don’t be afraid to go non-traditional. Just because it’s Thanksgiving or fall, does not mean there has to be red and yellow on the table. Define your own color pallet and give it your own holiday feel.
I have been so excited to share our Friendsgiving with you all. I hope it inspires you to gather and create something pretty.
