The House Magazine

A new wave of inspiration always comes to be during a seasonal change. New products flood in to all of my favorite shops and I love to start perusing to see what I may want to add to my collection. Indoor entertaining starts to pick up around our house during the fall as the weather cools, and I can’t wait to start using linens and glassware I’ve had tucked away during Spring and Summer. Typically, I am drawn to non-traditional colors for a fall table setting, but this year a few products made me fall in love with the yellows and oranges that represent this seasonal change. I hope the start to your fall season has been restful and has give you the time to stop and enjoy the changing of the leaves.

Fall Table Setting Ideas

My first piece of advice always and forever start with what you have. A lot of my collection consists of neutral colors and patterns, making it easy to introduce pieces inspired by the season. If you already have a favorite dinner plate, find a salad plate to stack on top for your fall table setting. If you are in the mood to update your linens, find a patter that’s fall inspired, but would work throughout the year as well – like these beautiful black Soho Napkins from Heather Taylor Home. Fall table linens are an easy, more affordable way to to create a tablescape that is fitting for this season.
