I am terrible at Valentine’s Day. I’m not sure if it’s because the main holiday’s are more of my jam, or if it’s because I struggle to remember anything outside of our everyday necessities (mother of two). However, this year I did take a vow to slow down, be more present and allow myself to breath a bit more. When I do that for myself, I can be more thoughtful. Annnnd speaking of thoughtful, it’s about time as Valentine’s Day approaches. Gift buying for Eric has always been a bit of a struggle for me, so I invited him to help me create this gift list. He gladly accepted. So guys, here’s what to buy the guy in your life for Valentine’s Day – gift guide curated by Mr. Perez.

Also, happy Valentine’s Day. Enjoy your loved ones. Spend some uninterrupted time together. Eric and I appreciate that so much these days – it’s hard to comb through the chaos.

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Him

What to Buy Him | Valentine's Day Gift Guide

1/ Charging Station. I am all about useful and [attempting to] being organized, so this one is a given.

2/ Dress Shirt. These are kind of my go-to when I am looking at gifts for Eric. It’s nice for him to have a selection when it comes time for weddings and other special occasions. These J.Crew ones are our favorite.

3/ Adventures Book. K, I snuck this one on the list – but books are one of my favorite things to receive as gifts. Eric and I definitely have a bucket list and are constantly adding to it.

4/ Watch. Another go-to gift for men. Love the leather band on this and the classic look of the face.

5/ Travel Bag. Such a useful item that is constantly forgotten about. Men need these things to!

6/ Chukka Boots. I actually bought these shoes for Eric about a year ago because he was looking for something a lil’ dressy, but still casual enough for jeans. They literally go with anything and have worn really well.

7/ Vintage Collegiate Sweatshirt. It’s March Madness, like right around the corner. So this gift definitely works for this time of year – if your guy likes basketball. Yes, Eric is a Notre Dame fan – no we do not chear for the same team.

8/ Notebook. Simple, useful and definitely not girly. Eric needs his own note pad to throw in his truck – if he borrowed one from the junk drawer it’d be covered in flowers.

9/ Portable Speaker. Not sure what it is about guys. But I think the key to every man’s heart relates to TVs, sound systems, things like that? When it’s portable it makes it that much more appealing.

10/ Yellowstone Hat. Eric is SUCH a hat guy. We need many many racks (which we don’t currently have) to get those babies Marie Kondoed. Love this one – Eric is outdoorsy and proud of the Wyoming area. Take a look at the other versions for your geographical area.

11/ Travel Duffle. Eric actually owns this bag and loves it. It may have been last year’s fathers day gift. There are straps that zip underneath so that you can change it from a carry-on to a backpack easily when you step off the plane. He loves this thing.

12/ Sculpting Paste. We have the COOLEST men’s barber shop in town, which has introduced Eric to many manly hair products. His hair is THICK so he has found sculpting paste really useful.

13/ Multi-Tool Pen. I love useful and unique gifts. We both thought this was cool. End of story.

14/ Coffee Mug. We are parents. So anything we can put coffee into we are loving at the moment. Again, Eric is outdoorsy so the Yeti is a shoo-in. (PS, checked the spelling on shoo-in and it can also be shoe-in….don’t tell at me I didn’t know which to use!).
